Moving around at Hydra

For moving from the port of Hydra to Four Seasons Hydra and vice versa, you can take advantage our boat with a cost of only 3€ per use.

By car

Beginning your journey from Athens by car, the distance is approximately 180km. From the Attiki Odos (toll highway) you head to the Athens-Korinthos National Road, turning to the left after Isthmos of Korinthos, always in the direction to Epidavros. From Epidavros, you follow the new coastal road, inaugurated on 5th August 2006, and within 5 minutes you will be in Kalloni.

Then, in 15 minutes, you will arrive at Galatas, which is opposite to Poros. The road is an extension of the National road and is quite good. You will need about one hour and 45 minutes to reach Galatas at a middle speed.

Next, following this coastal road, within less than half hour, you will reach Metohi, a village opposite to Hydra, where you will find enough space to leave your car and get across to Hydra by calling a sea taxi on the following telephone numbers:

From Athens airport

From Athens airport, there are several options for reaching the port:

  1. Upon exiting the airport is bus X96 with terminus at the Karaiskaki square of Piraeus port and costs about 4 euros per person.
  2. By subway from the airport towards the port of Piraeus, but you have to change trains in Monastiraki station and costs about 6 euros per person.
  3. Finally, with a taxi which costs approx. 30 euros.

From the port of Piraeus

Flying dolphins and ferries with destination Hydra, all leave from the port of Piraeus, gate E8 (in front of St. Spyridon).
